Grip onto God’s Word and never let go!
For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it. Jam 1:23-25. We must grip the Word and not let go. If we listen to it and ignore it, or don’t stand on it and hold onto it, then it’s pointless. Like Jacob who wrestled with the angel throughout the night until he received His blessing in the morning, we must refuse to let go of God’s Word. God has made His promises clear for us in His Word, so we must refuse to focus on our circumstances but to hold fast to God and focus on Him who will always make a way. Praise Him today for the breakthroughs and favour. Rejoice in Him as it’s His desire is to bless those who trust Him, obey Him and seek Him.
