It’s your heart and motives that matter to God

Declare me innocent, O LORD, for I have acted with integrity; I have trusted in the LORD without wavering. Put me on trial, LORD, and cross-examine me. Test my motives and my heart. For I am always aware of your unfailing love, and I have lived according to your truth. PS 26:1-3. It’s what’s on the inside that counts. Even with the best intentions, we can still get it wrong. Even though you’ve done everything right, others may react or respond to you for totally wrong or illogical reasons. Our battle is not against flesh but of spirit, so we must never disregard this element and ensure our heart and relationship with God is in the right place. If you’ve done your best, then that’s all you can do. Commit the rest to God and He will make a way. Praise God today that He is always for us and with us. Ask God to check your heart to make sure that you’re not part of the problem, and deal with whatever God reveals.
