Jesus came to set us free from the the things that have held us back
Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin. A slave is not a permanent member of the family, but a son is part of the family forever. So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free. Jn8:34-36. Jesus came to set us free from our past failings and from those things that are still keeping us trapped. Sin can be so addictive that it’s hard to break free. When we accept Jesus into our heart our love for Him will becomes stronger than for those things that have held us back. Through Jesus we are adopted into God’s family forever with all of God’s promises available to us. Jesus also came to set us free from our insecurities where we may have stepped out in our own strength in the past and failed,but as we try again with God’s wind in our sails,God will make a way. Thank Jesus today that He came to set us free so that we can live the life He always intended for us. Prayerchair.org
