Jesus prayed that you would have a personal relationship with Him and the Father

“I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one-as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. Jn 17:20-22. Jesus prayed for you and for me that we would have the same intimate relationship with the Father as He had. Jesus did not want religion, but a heart to heart personal relationship where you can abide in His true love that will never fail you. For this to happen Jesus died on a cross to bridge the gulf between the mess in our life and a holy loving God. Thank God today that as we believe in what Jesus did for us and invite Him into our heart, we can enter into that personal relationship that God always intended for us that will last forever.
