Jesus taught us to lead by serving others

The greatest among you must be a servant. But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. Mat 23:11-12. Jesus led by example. How He lived His life is an example for us to follow. Jesus did not announce healing rallies, schedules or ask people to come to Him, but He did the bidding of His Father, He went out and met the people where they gathered. He stopped for the one who needed a healing touch, He never promoted Himself, but always gave glory to His Heavenly Father. As we serve others to the best of our ability with a humble heart, in whatever capacity God directs,  people will trust us, see our commitment, and we will be lifted up. When we serve, we are also teachable, and God equips the called, He doesn’t call the equipped. Praise God today that as we follow Jesus’s example and serve others, we will be lifted up in God’s perfect timing. Prayerchair.org
