Keep your eyes on Jesus to walk through life’s storms in His care

Then Jesus got into the boat and started across the lake with his disciples. Suddenly, a fierce storm struck the lake, with waves breaking into the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm. Mat 8:23-26. Our life is our boat in the sea of life. Jesus was sleeping in the boat as He knew the outcome. Jesus is always with us so we need to replace worry with trust and fear with peace. There will be storms but there will also be times of tranquillity and peace. God never changes so keep trusting Him, and remember its not the water outside of the boat that will hurt you but what you let in when you take your eyes off Jesus. Thank Jesus today that He is always with us and will never leave us.
