Keeping close to God is wise

Using a dull ax requires great strength, so sharpen the blade. That’s the value of wisdom; it helps you succeed. Ecl10:10. When you always seem to be pushing uphill, its time to stop and look at exactly what youre doing. Is there a better way? otherwise you may end up continuing to struggle doing things the wrong way and get nowhere quickly. Often we can be too close or too involved in a situation to know the best way forward. So at times we need to just stop,and seek God’s face and guidance.We need to read His Word to understand God’s perspective,in PS119:105 we read His word is a lamp to our feet.. Keeping close to God keeps our ax sharp. God will prompt us and guide us as we trust what He speaks into our spirit that can sometimes require a 180 degree uturn or to just stop. Praise God today that He’s given us His Holy Spirit to guide us and to direct our actions as we seek Him and follow His promptings.
