Look to God, and not at your problems, for the breakthrough

Around midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening. Suddenly, there was a massive earthquake, and the prison was shaken to its foundations. All the doors immediately flew open, and the chains of every prisoner fell off! Acts 16:25-26. Paul and Silas had been beaten and chained in prison, yet they didn’t allow fear to grip them but started to pray and sing to God. As they looked outwardly to God rather than inwardly to their circumstances, God moved on their behalf. When we praise God in the midst of our crisis we recognise that God is able. When we allow fear to rise up we are denying Gods power to move on our behalf. Praise God today that He is your deliverer who is bigger than any problem you may be facing who will make a way as you trust Him. If you are struggling with fear or anxiety ask God to strengthen you and keep your eyes on Him always.
