Our hope is in God and not material gain

And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? Mat 16:26. God’s way is the only way to true peace and eternal life. As you walk in His ways you’ll see His plans for you fulfilled in your life. Some people will put their trust in material gain and spend their whole life amassing what they can’t take with them. This is true futility. God is your security, who wants to overflow in your life, so that you can also be a blessing to others that will give you far greater joy than putting your hope in material gain. God’s ways are above our ways. As we trust Him, we will not be driven to accumulate material wealth, which may come with God’s grace, when He knows this won’t draw you away from Him.
