Our trials draw us nearer to God
The LORD is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life-of whom shall I be afraid? Ps27:1. Who do you say God is to you? It’s really in the midst of your trials where your true heart attitude is revealed. Its our trials that bring us nearer to God, to draw us into His loving arms that strengthen us to believe that we can do so much more when we realise that He created us to be victorious, to be the head and not the tail. But if it wasn’t for our trials, many of us would never draw near to God and miss out on the intimacy of knowing Him so much more. Yet if we could just draw near to God in the good times too, we wouldn’t need to go through our trials to draw us nearer to God. Our faith in Him would carry us through our trials so that we could just rest in His peace and walk through life’s storms. Praise God today that He’s always with us and in Him we are victorious.
