Plan ahead to see God’s favour in your life

Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty. Pr 21:5. This year step beyond New Years resolutions to set time aside to plan and document what you hope to achieve this year and in the medium and longer term. An old adage, that if you fail to plan, you plan to fail, is so true. We need to prayerfully plan where we are going and what we need to do. Careful planning, diligent effort and steps of faith will see God’s favour. When we act in haste without thinking things through, we can lose out. God’s Word has much advice on planning and seeking God’s will and direction, so press in to God today. Once you have set out your plans, review them monthly, and adjust them if necessary so that you can see that you are on track to complete whatever God has put on your heart.
