Prayer is our spiritual oxygen
I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Saviour, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. 1Tim. 2:1-4. Prayer is our spiritual oxygen that keeps us connected with God. Prayer allows us to tale a passive yet active role in our world to see God’s kingdom come, to change lives, including our own. When we pray we draw closer to God as we remain in fellowship with Him. As we pray we recognise how much we need God in our life and in our world. It’s also important that we keep praying until we breakthrough. Praise God today that He has made a way to communicate directly with Him through prayer to draw us closer to him and to change our world.
