Share with God what He already knows
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. PS 139:23-24. In our desire to draw nearer to God we must be completely open with Him. Even though He already knows our most closely guarded secrets, its only when we are transparent before Him that He will fill us with His glory so we can come closer into His presence and favour. Ask Him today to search your heart for anything that may be holding you back from the fullness of His love or blessings on your life. Repent of anything that God highlights and bring it to the foot of the cross. Ask Jesus to strengthen you if there are any issues that need to be  dealt with that you are struggling with. As you act on whatever prompt God places on your Spirit, His love, peace, joy and mercy will wash over you to refresh you and strengthen you.
