Sometimes God has to change us to do something new in our life

“And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the wine would burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins.” Mk2:22. Sometimes when we ask God to do something new in our life, He has to do something new on the inside of us first. Sometimes we need to change our old ways that won’t work with His new plans, and so God will allow circumstances to shape us, and prepare us for what He has instore for us. Don’t be discouraged, but hold fast to God. At times He has to take us out of our comfort zone to the place where something new can happen in our life. Unless we are willing to walk with God through these times, God can not move in our life, and what God has for us is always better than what we expect. Thank God today that He is always with you, and don’t shun life’s trials but rather thank God that He is preparing you for something great in your life.
