Sometimes we need to ask God to search our hearts before we can move forward
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. Ps 139:23-24. Sometimes when we just can’t get ahead or shift something in our life, we need to put ourselves through a spiritual MOT. We need to come before the throne of grace and ask God to search our heart and to reveal any hindrances or blockages in our life that’s stopping our breakthrough. Do we need to deal with or repent of any sins, before we can be fully restored into His blessing and grace? Sometimes we can be the problem, wrong attitudes, a lack of gratitude or ignoring the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Losing our peace is also a sign that something may be out of alignment in our life and with our relationship with God. Praise God today that He’s always there for us and will always restore us when we come before Him in humility.
