Strengthen yourself in God, your emotional stability should not depend on others

Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God. 1Sam 30:6. When everything looks bleak, you need to strengthen yourself in God. Your emotional stability should not depend on others. Don’t let the issues of others effect what’s going on inside of you. You should strengthen yourself in God by praising God that you were wonderfully created in His image with a divine plan for your life. Continually reaffirm who your are in God, that He created you to be the head and not the tail. Be good to yourself, as the most important words in your life are the ones you say to yourself! Praise God today that He created you as His masterpiece. Speak kindly to yourself and strengthen yourself in Him because God loves you beyond words, and that’s all that matters.
