The Lord is our good shepherd who looks after us

The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. Psalm 23:1-2.

When we accept Jesus into our heart, we become citizens of Heaven and God's direction for our life, and not the world's. He trades our stresses and anxieties for His peace, He gives us rest for our weariness and guides our steps in His ways to bring joy, purpose and fulfilment in our life. As we keep our eyes on Him He'll help us to order the priorities in our life. The world's ways are so temporal chasing wealth, fame and success at whatever cost. Steve Jobs founder of Apple had all this and yet he died a very sad and lonely man. God desires to give us lasting peace, blessed relationships and joy in every part of our life. Praise God today that His ways are not the world's ways and as we trust Him, we'll experience lasting peace and His best unfold in our life.
