The most important things in life are not things

For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:10.

The most important things in life are not things, yet some people think that more money will fix everything. They devote their lives to wanting more, and eventually find themselves compromising in their heart what they know to be true to make more money. Greed never has enough. As we bring our needs before God, He'll make a way so that we do have enough. The most important thing we have are our relationships with family, friends and God. The peace we have with God through Jesus is priceless. Whilst the world strives for material gain, history does not remember the rich, but rather those who made a difference. Praise God today that He is our more than enough, and as we put our hope in Him, we'll have all that we need.
