Trials can reposition us for greater things

Until the time came to fulfil his dreams, the LORD tested Joseph’s character. PS105:19. Sometimes a repositioning is necessary in the fulfilment of our dreams or the plans God has for us. Joseph could not become king until his character was shaped through his trials to a point where he could accept greatness with grace and humility whilst retaining His love for God. God will not bless you out of your salvation so sometimes He needs to shape us and prepare us for the unfolding of the plans He has lined up in our future. Sometimes we don’t fully underhand the implications of what we ask for,that may not only involve a material change but also a necessary change to our character. Praise God today that He only has our very best at heart,and even though we may endure trials and not understand what is happening, let’s draw even closer to God, to listen to His heart beat for our life, as the best is yet to come.
