Turn the other cheek to release God’s grace

If someone slaps you on one cheek, offer the other cheek also. Lk 6:29a. This verse does NOT say be a doormat. It’s saying how will you respond when adversity hits you, this is something that’s in your control. Will you slap them back and stoke into full blaze a spark or will you pause to think, or in humility admit that perhaps you maybe at fault to some degree, and in that way offer the other cheek at which point people will not slap you again, but rather allow the process of clarification, reconciliation and restitution to take place. God is the God of love, He will not strike you if He doesn’t like something, He is slow to anger and abounding in love, allowing time for change. Love will always make a way for favourable outcomes regardless of the situation. Praise God today that His way is the best way and that as we walk in humility and love, we will see His hand move in even greater ways in our life.
