Unforgiveness can wreak havoc in your life

“That’s what my heavenly Father will do to you if you refuse to forgive your brothers and sisters from your heart.” Mat 18:35. The consequences of unforgiveness are severe. In this sobering parable in Mat 18:23-35, the King forgives a debtor a huge debt, who in turn refuses to forgives a fellow servant a significantly smaller debt. The King hears about the debtors cruelty and imprisons him until he has repaid his original debt. Refusing to forgive is like giving the devil a key to your front door. The devil can accuse you before God because you have not extended the same mercy as God has extended you. God knows all things in your life and what you believe is unforgivable, is forgivable with God’s help. God will help you if you reach out to Him, no matter how long it may take. Praise God today that we have been forgiven. Ask Jesus to bring to mind anyone you may need to forgive, and forgive them! Prayerchair.org
