Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Ps 127:1a. God has given us all gifts and talents, and unless we are operating in those we’ll struggle. When you look at an Olympian or a professional artist you see people who are moving in their gifts. Most gifts are not public but rather seen by those who are impacted by them. Someone who is working on their gift will keep practising and developing because they enjoy whatever they’re doing and are willing to work at it. If the joy has gone and you’re struggling, come before God and seek His direction. Perhaps a change in career or the way we work needs to change, perhaps it’s our attitude? Whatever it is, God will make a way. It may require effort, but if you trust God and follow His promptings the blessings will come. Praise God today that He’s given us all gifts and talents to bring fulfilment and joy into our life. Prayerchair.org
