Wait quietly before God, and He’ll bring the victory

I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken. Ps 62:1-2. Sometimes we just need to put the handbrake on life and just wait before God. There are so many things competing for our attention – home, work, friends, commitments, distractions etc. We can become weary and sometimes even lose our way. Our actions will follow our thoughts, so if we don’t have clarity in what we are doing we can slip up and end up moving into damage control. Just stop. Come before the Lord and wait on Him and keep your eyes on Him. He is our refuge and our victory. It’s in that quiet time we can find rest for our soul and open our spiritual ears wide enough to hear God’s direction. Praise God today that our victory comes from Him and as we wait on Him,He will guide us and help us to see clearly through the confusion and busyness of life.
