We must pray for our leaders and our nation daily

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. 1 Tim 1:1-2. The power of prayer can not be underestimated. When enough people pray it creates a sufficient level of prayer cover that will compel God to move on behalf of the nation. We must pray regularly for those in authority over us and over our nation that God gives them incredible wisdom to make brave and bold decisions that will honour God and serve the people entrusted into their care. We must bring our politicians before the Lord daily, especially at this crucial time in our nations and global history. Praise God today that He is seated upon the throne regardless of what is happening in the world and will move in response to our prayers.
