We only find real peace in God’s presence

Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. PS84:10. Home is where the heart is. Where do you enjoy spending your time? Where does your heart feel at rest? When we spend time with God, He refreshes our Spirit and lifts us up. When we come into His presence there is such an incredible sense of His love that can’t be found elsewhere, that just wants to keep us there. Where ever we go, or spend time, something of that will rub off on us, whether we dwell on conversations or reflect on what we’ve been doing. Yet the only place we will find lasting peace and true contentment to walk through life regardless of what’s going on is in God’s presence. Praise God today, that as we spend more time in His presence He will guide our steps, fill our heart with peace, and draw us nearer to Himself. Prayerchair.org
