When things look hopeless, find strength in the Lord

David was now in great danger because all his men were very bitter about losing their sons and daughters, and they began to talk of stoning him. But David found strength in the LORD his God. 1 Sam 30:6. Sometimes when things look so hopeless or against us, we need to strengthen ourselves in the Lord. As we start to praise Him that He is bigger than what’s in font of us, as we stand on the promises in His Word that will take us through, as we spend time waiting on Him for His wisdom and guidance, we will prevail! David was in a dire place where it appeared as though his men would turn against him. He waited on the Lord who strengthened Him and gave Him the word to pursue the Amalekites, and they recovered their families from their enemies. Praise God today that He is always for us and has our best interests at heart. As we keep close to Him we will have nothing to fear, as He always goes ahead of us.
