Your words reveal your heart

Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing. PR12:18. Your words should reflect the fruits of your spirit. People will spend a lifetime on self improvement courses or education but pay little or no attention to the one that thing that can significantly effect the lives of others, their words! Cutting words can leave deep wounds that take years to heal whilst words of calming reassurance can bring instant healing and comfort. The words of the wise can instill confidence and strength. Your words reflect who you are in every situation. Your words tell others more about who you are than what you realise,so let God’s love temper your words at all times. Recognise that encouragement rather that rebuking can change a heart and save a life. Praise God today that as we seek His wisdom in all things, ask Him to let His words be our words so that we can be a blessing to all we encounter.
