Your words shape your future

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Pr 18:21. What words are you speaking? God has given us the ability to speak life into situations. As we speak life and encouragement, words of love, trust and affirmation, we will build up our personal and work relationships that will bear good fruit in our life. If we keep speaking negative, destructive or abusive words, we are speaking death into situations that will eventually see relationships fail, lives ruined, and bear fruit of hurt and grief in our life. From the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. We must keep our eyes on God in every situation and keep Him in our heart so that our words are constructive and not destructive, that edify and build up and not tear down. Praise God today that He speaks love, favour, grace and mercy over our life, that should also flow out from within us to all those around us.
